In 2007, for various reasons, I ended up taking very few photos. (I came home with just a few hundred. By comparison, in 2008 I shot over 4,000 images). The result is the unusually small photo set you see here — just 53 images, none of the Man, none of the Burn, and none that capture the larger context of the event. I felt so dissatisfied with this that I declined to put a 2007 set online for nearly two years. But friends finally convinced me that a small set was better than none, and this is the result. And now I'm actually pleased with it. As a whole, this set may lack the bigger picture and expansive scope of Burning Man, but there are some details and individual moments captured here that I'm glad have finally seen the light of day.
